Combination of Hybrid Actuator, Lead Screw and Guide Rail into a Compact, Fully Assembled & Tested Solution Delivers a New Level of Performance while Simplifying Procurement & Supply Chain Issues for Equipment Designers

WATERBURY, Conn., June 29, 2023 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Haydon Kerk Pittman (HKP), a world leader in compact linear and rotary motion systems and a business of AMETEK, today announced additional details for the compact MiniStage Model MLX02 Linear Platform.

MiniStage is the industry's most compact motorized hybrid stepper actuator. It combines the core AMETEK Haydon Kerk Pittman hybrid actuator and lead screw technology with the guidance and load handling capacities of a recirculating ball bearing profile rail. The guide rail provides high load capacity, long performance life with maintenance-free operation, and guiding accuracy. The integration of the lead screw directly into the hybrid stepper motor without the use of a coupling results in a shorter overall product length (with a ride height of only 15.5mm).
